The International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) was founded in 1970 by a group of volunteers from around the world who saw in volunteering a means of making connections across countries and cultures. It has grown into a global network of volunteers, volunteer organizations, national representatives and volunteer centres, with members in over 70 countries, and in all world regions. The majority of IAVE members are in developing countries.

In association with Apero Media, DDW dramatically refreshed the associations webpage look and feel.
The focus for the design revolved around three key components:

• Stay true to the brand
• Communicate key message clearly and effectively
• Engage the user by eliciting an emotional response.
